Portfolio templates usually optimise for looking impressive in a screenshot and fall apart the moment you add real work. Meridian was designed around actual case study content: a problem worth solving, a decision that was made, and evidence that it worked. The layouts hold up whether a project has two images or twenty.
The case study template moves through a hero with client, sector and role, a context paragraph, an explicit challenge statement, the approach with supporting visuals, a results block with three headline metrics, a client quote, and a next-project link that keeps people reading. Image components handle full-bleed, inset, side-by-side and before/after comparisons, each with captions — because a caption is where the reasoning lives.
Included are home, work index with filterable categories, case study detail, services, about with a studio story layout, team, journal index, journal article and contact. The typographic system uses a single font family across five sizes and three weights, which is what makes editorial layouts feel expensive rather than busy.
Transitions are short — 150 to 200 milliseconds — and used only to explain change: a card lifting on hover, a section fading in once as it enters the viewport, an image revealing behind a mask on the work grid. Everything is disabled under prefers-reduced-motion. There is no scroll-jacking, no parallax, no cursor hijacking, and no loader animation delaying your content.
The work grid reads from a simple JSON manifest, so adding a project means adding one object rather than editing four files. Meta tags, Open Graph images and Article schema are wired per page. Dark mode is designed, not inverted, and the whole template uses logical properties for correct RTL rendering.
